National Trails Day

Today is National Trails Day, a reminder that we all have to pitch in to keep the public hiking and biking trails in our parks safe and clean. While Door County’s state and county parks often sponsor specific events inviting the public to help out in a supervised environment, remember that there’s nothing stopping us from doing our part every day.

Pick up trash (especially your own) and contribute to groups that help maintain trails and parks. We’ve got incredible resources here in Door County, let’s not take them for granted.
